It was early Saturday morning as I drove the streets of Frostburg with my coffee in hand. It was 7 am and after shooting a wedding the night before but I was still so excited to capture such a beautiful day. I wasn’t shooting alone this time as I had my good friend and fellow photographer Melissa to help and I couldn’t be happier to shoot with her!
We met with Kaytlyn and immediately we were off shooting. I adored all of Kaytlyn’s details they were simple and elegant all at the same time.
After capturing the gorgeous details of the day, we went ahead and pulled the guys away for their formals. Not only did we get classic formal shots but we also had a lot of fun!
Kaytlyn continued to get ready with her bridesmaids all around her (already looking fabulous I might add) together everyone talked, laughed, and relaxed before the big event!
Both Nick and Kaytlyn had a moment of prayer before the ceremony and Kaytlyn shared a special moment with her father which I adored so much! I loved having the chance to capture her fathers reaction to seeing his little girl before the ceremony!
The ceremony was short and simple but filled with so many beautiful moments.
Love filled the room completely during the ceremony the smiles on Nick and Kaytlyn’s faces made my heart melt. Nick would touch Kaytlyn so gently, his eyes welled when she appeared, and I could see mom and dad tearing up during the ceremony. After sharing their first kiss as husband and wife Nick and Kaytlyn made their exit which was oh so epic. Why? They walked away to the main theme of Star Wars. Both Melissa and I squealed with pure excitement – our inner nerd coming out if you will.
Soon after it was time for formals and the reception! Formals were quick but still oh so fun, not only did the bridal party nail every pose but Nick and Kaytlyn nailed their session as well. Of course we had to make sure there were some laughs along the way!
