Long Time No See! | A Blog Reboot

Hey, so it has been a WHILE! October 7 last year to be exact – I wanted to post because I have MISSED talking to you guys! Last year was such a hard year losing my dad, lots of medical things happening, and just in general it being a very hard slow year. But, it is a new year (Well 2 almost 3 months in) and I know I will not be the same definitely, but I know I am ready to move forward.

Moving forward is not me forgetting, it’s time for me to grow. My dad was my best friend that might be strange to some but, I don’t care. He was my rock, my cheerleader, and of course my dad. But I know for a fact that he would want me to move on and well for a lack of a better word be a kick ass a photographer. So, I want to make him proud.

I am ready to start this year with a bang, and I have! So far I have 6 weddings booked; I am so stoked! I can’t wait to capture all the amazing moments and meet all the amazing souls out there! I love meeting you guys, it seriously makes my day when I get to sit down and have a cup of coffee with you guys – to talk to you guys it means the world! I’m so excited about 2018 already and its only February.

Another exciting thing, we rescued a dog.

His name is Gunner and he is a long hair dachshund, we found him on the side of the road in Keyser on Christmas eve. We searched for his owners after we found him no one knew him, called for him, he just seemed to appear out of no where. He was all alone on this back road and we were scared he was going to get hit so my husband and I in 20 degrees chased him, tried to lure him with sheetz hot dogs, and pretzels. We chased him for an hour when he finally JUMPED INTO our car. He was so skinny, covered in ticks, and dirty. Pepper, my pug, wasn’t quite sure what the heck was going on  and I don’t blame her! Being the only dog for 4 years and suddenly this new dog is here – um what? We bathed him, dried him, laid him down on the couch and gave him food. He chomped the food down and I was petting him as he ate, he stopped and pushed his face into my hand. I knew then and there he was ours. He’s been with us for two months now – he is rotten, hyper, stubborn and funny but he’s my little worm who I love.

So, I have lots planned this year bridal shows, collaborations, and maybe a couple of cool fun shoots in store 😉 There is alot I want to get back to and do like, my fine art work, a styled wedding shoot, and do some cool senior shoots! The possibilities are endless, I’m excited to see where the year takes me! I hope you all are having a beautiful morning! Remember:

Stay Inspired & Keep On Dreaming. ❤
