Georgetown was beautiful. The streets filled with so many shops, cafes, culture, and so many people! People of all backgrounds and tongues – this small town girl was in awe and utterly pleased especially when I just left a Tj Maxx I could get lost in for more than an hour. Excuse me – TWO FLOORS? Um okay! But no, I was not here for the beautiful shops and cafes oh no my friend.
I was here for Hannah and Colin. My husband trailed behind me book in hand as we planned to explore the city afterwards together; I met Hannah and Colin. Her face glowed as bright as the sun as we spoke and Colin stood beside her a smile on his face that was warm and welcoming. It was going to be a beautiful day.
We started on a beautiful courtyard close to our meeting spot where we found a beautiful church, walkways, as well as some stunning greenery on a wall. I mean, this can’t get any more perfect and were less than 20 minutes into the session!
Next we explored the rivers and side streets that Georgetown had to offer. There were so many little gems everywhere you turned!
Lastly we hit the cutest spot called Dean & DeLuca! I was in love the moment we stepped in – again a small town girl amazed at this little market in the middle of a mall that sells delicious meals like curry and sushi and it looked cute as heck. We stopped in grabbed ice coffees, as you do, and had some found outside the shop as well as their tables!
We ended with a few shots at their AMAZING wedding venue – did I mention there is a bowling alley inside? Um. Can it get any better? These two are absolutely adorable and I had SUCH a blast with Collin and Hannah!
A perfect start to a beautiful weekend!
