Saying Goodbye to 2016.

This year went by so quickly – I blinked and it’s gone! This year has been known as the year that truly has not been a good one for anyone really but for me my year was so amazing in so many ways. There is so much that has happened in this year and it blows my mind! I wish I could sit down and tell you all about my year but I’m only going to talk about my favorite and most memorable moments. Let’s get into my year!

I attended my first bridal show.

I wrote all about my experience earlier this year you can find that post here. But doing this I really had so much fun planning out a table and getting everything i needed for the table to look pretty. I met so many beautiful brides and even got to work with a few of them after the show! I’m so grateful for the chance to work with so many beautiful people and I really am so happy my  parents were able to help me with such a huge event. I’m sure I told you before but thank you mom and dad for all of your help hauling I know it wasn’t easy on you!

This is where I also met my amazing friend Melissa Gaglio of Farfalla Photography for the first time. We always chatted online but this event was the first event we really met face to face. Since then my relationship with her had grown and I’m so so happy to call her my friend. ❤ Melissa is kind, encouraging, and crazy crazy talented. I love this girl.

I tried fine art photography.

Fine art photography is something I have ALWAYS loved so deeply. I never wanted to ever ask people to model for me because I was too afraid. But this year was the year of taking chances and saying yes so I did a model call and I found three wonderful girls to model for me and were absolute troopers. I plan to blog about these ladies and their shoots individually next year!

Thank you to Joya Dawson, Rebecca Bensavage, and Maddie Kesner for being so enthusiastic about my ideas and taking time out of your day to help my visions come to life. I hope I can work with all of you in the future. I’m so grateful for all of you!

My parents moved.

My parents moved to North Carolina over the summer and for me it’s been super hard because I’m so so close to my parents. I would visit them every week, multiple times a week after class, if I wasn’t at their house I usually would chat with them on the phone and I would go out with them to the mall a lot. They moved away in anticipation for our eventual move to the south because they need a bit more time to settle, I miss them everyday and wish I could just pop over to their house every time I feel lonely. But, I can’t do that since they’re so far away.

I miss you guys and I can’t wait for our time in NC to come! Call me!

I graduated university!

This was a HUGE one for me, as a lot of you guys know during this entire time I’ve had this business I’ve been a full time college student. These past few years have been so hard running a business AND going to college at once and I’m so happy I’m done but I know I’m going to miss it tremendously. This was an end of an era and the beginning of the new one. I can’t wait to solely focus on you guys and a potential design job! I’ve learned so much during my college career but I can’t wait to give the “real” world a go.

I said yes to things more.

I don’t have any images for this one because I said yes to a lot of things. I was always so afraid to allow myself to do things especially spontaneous things. For example, Melissa wanted to randomly go to garret county and see the beautiful leaves during the fall time. It took up a good majority of the day normally I would have said no but, I didn’t and it was an absolute amazing time! I said yes to experimenting with photography, to other spontaneous adventures, to invitations to events, and more. Normally, I would stay home and lay in bed and just browse YouTube. But, because I promised myself I would say yes more I felt amazing I was so much happier and had a lot more fun! So, if you’re like me at all push yourself and say yes to the right things.

This year has been amazing, I wish I could talk more about my year with you but these are some of the best things that have happened. I can’t wait to conquer the new year with all of you! Cheers to the new year my friends! Here’s to another amazing year! ❤

Stay Inspired & Keep On Dreaming. ❤
